Friday Sector Laggards: Construction, Electric Utilities
In trading on Friday, construction shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.1%. Helping drag down the group were shares of XOS, off about 10.2% and shares of Quanta Services down about 3.5% on the day.
Also lagging the market Friday are electric utilities shares, down on the day by about 0.9% as a group, led down by Sempra, trading lower by about 3.4% and Edison International, trading lower by about 3.1%.
