FMC Q3 Loss Widens

(RTTNews) - FMC Corporation (FMC) on Thursday reported a sharply wider loss for the third quarter, hurt largely by non-cash impairment and tax-related adjustments.

Net loss attributable to FMC stockholders widened to $2.07 billion, or $15.54 per share, from $569.3 million, or $4.52 per share, a year earlier. Revenue plunged 80% to $105.9 million from $542.2 million.

The results included an estimated $639 million negative impact on revenue and a $672 million hit to adjusted EBITDA from commercial actions announced in October to revise North American pricing and rebate arrangements and reduce prices on selected products held by channel customers.

Adjusted loss per share was $4.41, compared with adjusted earnings of $0.89 a year ago.

For the fourth quarter, FMC expects revenue excluding India of $1.04 billion to $1.14 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $210 million to $230 million. Adjusted earnings per share are projected at $0.56 to $0.70.

For full-year 2026, the company expects revenue excluding India of $2.75 billion to $2.85 billion and adjusted EBITDA loss of $104 million to $124 million.
