FibroBiologics Secures $0.5 Mln Private Placement; Stock Up

(RTTNews) - FibroBiologics, Inc. (FBLG), a clinical-stage biotechnology company, announced the closing of a private placement on September 15, 2026, with Hamid Khoja, Chief Scientific Officer of FibroBiologics, who purchased 0.298 million shares and accompanying warrants to purchase up to 0.298 million shares.

FibroBiologics received gross proceeds of approximately $0.5 million.

Each common share and warrant were sold together for $1.675, based on the stock's September 14, 2026 closing bid of $1.55 plus $0.125 per warrant. The warrants have an exercise price of $1.55 per share, are immediately exercisable, and expire five years from the date of issuance.

FibroBiologics develops treatments using fibroblast cells and fibroblast-derived materials. FibroBiologics said it holds 270 or more US and internationally issued patents/patents pending across various clinical pathways, including wound healing, multiple sclerosis, disc degeneration, psoriasis, orthopaedics, human longevity, and cancer.

FBLG has traded between $0.62 and $12.40 over the last year. The stock closed Wednesday's trade at $1.43%.

Following the news, FBLG is currently surging over 9% to $1.56.
