Exosens's Photonis Defense Secures Contract From US Army

(RTTNews) - Exosens (EXENS.PA), a manufacturer of electro-optical technologies, Tuesday announced that its US subsidiary Photonis Defense has secured a first delivery order for 1,600 complete systems under the U.S. Army's Binocular Night Observation Device or BiNOD program.

Financial terms associated with this order have not been divulged.

This first delivery order under the $352.6 million Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity or IDIQ contract announced in March marks the next phase in the company's US expansion.

Photonis Defense is expected to deliver lightweight, mission-ready and cost-effective night vision systems designed to provide soldiers with a decisive operational advantage in the most demanding environments while meeting the U.S. Army's highest standards for performance, quality and on-time delivery.

First product deliveries are expected by 2026 end with bulk deliveries scheduled throughout 2027.

On Monday, Exosens shares closed at €60, down 1.56% on the Paris Stock Exchange.
