Eton Relaunches IMPAVIDO In U.S., Expands Patient Access Programs

(RTTNews) - Eton Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ETON) announced the U.S. commercial availability of IMPAVIDO (miltefosine) capsules, following the company's acquisition of exclusive U.S. commercialization rights to the product.

IMPAVIDO is approved for the treatment of certain forms of leishmaniasis, a parasitic disease transmitted through the bite of infected sand flies. The treatment is indicated in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older weighing at least 30 kilogram for visceral, cutaneous, and mucosal leishmaniasis caused by specific Leishmania species.

Eton Pharmaceuticals said its has integrated the product into its Eton Cares patient support platform, which includes $0 co-pay assistance for eligible commercially insured patients as well as expanded patient assistance programs designed to improve access to treatment.

The company has also established centralized distribution through Anovo Specialty Pharmacy, which will support outpatient prescribing, hospital consignment inventory, and urgent patient access needs. According to the company, the program is intended to simplify access to therapy and reduce delyas in treatment initiation.

Sean Brynjelsen, CEO of Eton Pharmaceuticals, said the company aims to combine IMPAVIDO with its rare disease commercial infrastructure and patient support services to help healthcare providers and patients access treatment more efficiently.

ETON has traded between $14.27 and $66.37 over the past year. The stock closed Friday's trading (September 25, 2026) at $57.68, down 3.04%. In pre-market trading the stock is at $57.05, down 1.09%.
