In early trading on Friday, shares of Amazon.com topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 1.3%. Year to date, Amazon.com registers a 20.0% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Intel, trading down 2.6%. Intel is lower by about 23.0% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Solventum, trading down 1.1%, and Caterpillar, trading up 0.9% on the day.
