In early trading on Thursday, shares of Amazon.com topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 2.4%. Year to date, Amazon.com registers a 4.8% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Nike, trading down 1.4%. Nike is showing a gain of 0.6% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Home Depot, trading down 1.3%, and Apple, trading up 0.4% on the day.
