Dow Movers: IBM, NVDA
In early trading on Thursday, shares of NVIDIA topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 1.0%. Year to date, NVIDIA has lost about 11.6% of its value.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is International Business Machines, trading down 4.8%. International Business Machines is showing a gain of 9.2% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Caterpillar, trading down 1.4%, and Merck, trading up 0.9% on the day.
