In early trading on Wednesday, shares of Sherwin-Williams (SHW) topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 6.8%. Year to date, Sherwin-Williams registers a 3.5% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Chevron (CVX), trading down 6.1%. Chevron is showing a gain of 24.1% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Verizon Communications (VZ), trading down 2.7%, and Home Depot (HD), trading up 6.1% on the day.
