Corn Pulling Off Early Lows on Tuesday

Corn futures are trading with contracts fractionally to a penny lower at Tuesday’s midday. The CmdtyView national average Cash Corn price was up 3 1/4 cents at $4.87. 

The weekly Crop Progress report tallied 86% of the US corn crop dented as of September 13, with 42% listed as mature and harvest at 8% complete. Condition ratings were back up 1 percentage point this week at 57% in good to excellent condition, as the Brugler500 index held steady at 347.

CONAB data was released this morning showing the 2025/26 corn crop in Brazil at 144 MMT, a 1.04 MMT increase from the previous number. An initial estimate for the 2026/27 corn crop was pegged at 148 MMT from CONAB, vs. the USDA at 139 MMT.

Nearby Cash is at $4.87, down 1/2 cent,

Mar 27 Corn is at $5.47 1/4, down 3/4 cent,

May 27 Corn is at $5.54 1/4, down 1 cent,
