CDT To Develop Solid Forms Of Existing Drug Assets; Stock Up

(RTTNews) - CDT Equity Inc. (CDT), a data-driven biopharmaceutical company, on Friday reported that crystalline forms of its existing drug compounds showed enhanced physical properties and stability, demonstrating a potential for new formulations.

The company has been developing a portfolio of drug assets and utilized Sarborg's Signature Intelligence to identify new uses of these compounds as monotherapies or in combination with marketed therapeutics. The suggested uses include targeted therapies for patients with unmet needs and limited treatment options.

The study established that the investigational drugs exhibited improved stability, solubility, and manufacturability when formulated in alternative crystal structures. These are protected under the company's Substance of Matter intellectual property (IP).

By leveraging artificial intelligence, solid-form chemistry, and asset repositioning, the company intends to advance these findings into clinically relevant lab models. These may be used to determine biological activity and therapeutic potential as partnership opportunities are explored to expand clinical research.

CDT closed Thursday at $1.88, down 1.53%. In the pre-market, shares are trading at $1.96, up 4.26%.
