Archer Materials Advances Biochip Technology

Archer Materials Limited (AU:AXE) has released an update.

Archer Materials Limited, a semiconductor company focused on quantum technology and medical diagnostics, has successfully fabricated its advanced Biochip graphene field effect transistor (gFET) design on a six-inch wafer, a first for the company and a step between research and commercial-scale production. The fabrication, done through Spanish partner Graphenea, produced 145 chips, each with 8 gFET devices, and showed the expected electronic performance and device stability. This milestone is part of Archer’s ongoing efforts to refine its Biochip technology, with further miniaturized designs currently in fabrication.
