Adicet Bio Shares Rise Ahead Of Prula-cel Clinical Data Update

(RTTNews) - Adicet Bio, Inc. (ACET) shares in the pre-market are active ahead of the company's planned release of Phase 1 clinical data for prulacabtagene leucel (prula-cel) in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), with or without lupus nephritis (LN).

The data is scheduled for September 28, 2026, and the company will host a webcast at 8:00 a.m. ET to discuss the data.

Adicet Bio is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing allogenic gamma delta CAR-T and in vivo CAR-T therapies for autoimmune diseases, hematologic malignancies, and solid tumors.

Near-Term Milestones

The key near-term catalyst is the Phase 1 prula-cel update, which is expected to include data from 22 patients with LN and SLE, including 13 patients with at least 12 months of follow-up. Adicet has also completed the last patient visit for the planned analysis.

Beyond prula-cel, Adicet expects to initiate Phase 1 development of ADI-212, its gene-edited CAR-T candidate targeting prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory clearance.

The company is also advancing pivotal program for prula-cel in LN and developing its in vivo CAR-T platform.

Recent Financial Results

For the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, Adicet reported a net loss of $21.36 million, or $1.99 per share, compared to $31.22 million, or $5.48 per share, in the year-ago quarter.

Cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments in treasury securities totaled $118.19 million as of June 30, 2026. The company said the current cash runway was expected to fund operating expenses into the second half of 2027.
