Ulf Carlsson

Ulf Carlsson is Vice President, Asia-Pacific, responsible for Financial Market Infrastructure within Nasdaq’s Financial Technology business. Based in Hong Kong, he serves as Chairman of Nasdaq Japan Ltd. and Director of the Board of Nasdaq Hong Kong Ltd., Nasdaq Korea Ltd., and Nasdaq Singapore Ltd.

Since 2003, Ulf has transformed Nasdaq's regional presence, establishing Nasdaq’s technology as the core infrastructure across many of the region’s most advanced markets.

He collaborates with top executives of exchanges, clearing houses, central securities depositories, and financial market regulators throughout the region to advance market infrastructure innovation.

Prior to his current role, Ulf served as Head of Nasdaq Marketplace Systems Business Unit from 1996 to 2003, where he led the global development and support of marketplace systems, laying the foundation for Nasdaq's international expansion.

Ulf holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Lund, Sweden, and serves as a committed advocate for electronic trading in APAC and an active member of the FIX Trading Community, FIA Asia and FIA Japan, contributing to their ongoing success and regional influence.
