Terry Campbell is the Vice President and Head of U.S. Government Relations for Nasdaq. Terry has a wealth of experience in public policy and finance. Previous to working for Nasdaq, Terry served in the United States Senate for Senator Chuck Hagel (NE) as Senior Legislative Assistant for Banking. Hagel, who went on to become the Secretary of Defense under President Obama, was a member of the Senate Banking Committee and Chairman of the International Trade and Finance Subcommittee where he tapped Terry to serve as that Subcommittee’s Staff Director. Terry served as Legislative Assistant to Former House Financial Services Committee Chairman Spencer Bachus in the 106th Congress.

Terry was lead staffer for the Congressman on the historic conference committee that produced the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. During the Administration of President George H.W. Bush, Terry served as Confidential Assistant to HHS Secretary Louis W. Sullivan.

Terry is a graduate of the University of Alabama in International Relations, Terry received his Master of Business Administration from Samford University and was a member of the American Academy of Distinguished Students and a member of Sigma Beta Delta – The National Honor Society for Business students.
