Kevin Kennedy is Executive Vice President of North American Markets at Nasdaq. In this role, he leads the team across North American Equities, U.S. Derivatives and Connectivity Services. Prior to this role, Kevin served as Head of U.S. Derivatives at Nasdaq, responsible for the full slate of Nasdaq options and futures products.

He is a Board Member for the Nasdaq Exchange Board, the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC), Nasdaq CXC Limited, and the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO), and previously served on the Board of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange before its acquisition by Nasdaq.

Kevin began his career as an independent market maker in September 1987. Since then, he has served as President of his own trading firm and Vice President in the Goldman Sachs Equities division, where he managed the firm’s Philadelphia derivatives operation. 

He graduated from La Salle University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
