Company Description (as filed with the SEC)

MEDNAX is a leading provider of physician services including newborn, anesthesia, maternal-fetal, radiology and teleradiology, pediatric cardiology and other pediatric subspecialty care. At December 31, 2018, our national network comprised over 4,210 affiliated physicians, including 1,270 physicians who provide neonatal clinical care, primarily within hospital-based neonatal intensive care units ("NICUs"), to babies born prematurely or with medical complications. We have 1,315 affiliated physicians who provide anesthesia care to patients in connection with surgical and other procedures, as well as pain management. In addition, we have 365 affiliated physicians who provide maternal-fetal and obstetrical medical care to expectant mothers experiencing complicated pregnancies primarily in areas where our affiliated neonatal physicians practice.  ...
