Emerson ("the Company") was incorporated in Missouri in 1890, and has evolved through internal growth and strategic acquisitions and divestitures from a regional manufacturer of electric motors and fans into a global leader that brings technology and engineering together to provide innovative solutions for customers in a wide range of industrial, commercial and consumer markets around the world. Total Emerson sales by geographic destination in 2018 were: the United States and Canada, 49 percent; Asia, 23 percent; Europe, 17 percent; Latin America, 5 percent; and Middle East/Africa, 6 percent. In connection with the strategic portfolio repositioning actions undertaken to transform the Company into a more focused enterprise, its businesses and organization were realigned.  ... More ...
