    Mike Cannon-Brookes:

Atlassian is an enterprise software company that helps teams around the world to operate better, to deliver products, to deliver projects, to work and deliver services to other teams within organizations large and small.

    Erika Fisher:

Atlassian is at its core, a collaboration company.

    Mike Cannon-Brookes:

Our mission for the last almost 20 years has been to unleash the potential of every team. Customers use our software in three main markets, the software and digitization market, the I.T. service management market, and the general work collaboration market.

    Cameron Deatsch:

Whether it's a small organization with five people or a giant global corp organization with 50000 people worldwide. The majority of the work comes at its heart through teams.

    Erika Fisher:

We service the Fortune 500, but we also service what we call the Fortune 500 thousand. And we really believe that bottom part of the pyramid is so much of the strength of Atlassian.

    Cameron Deatsch:

We have over 200000 customers across just about every industry, every geography and every size of customer.

    Mike Cannon-Brookes:

We deeply believe in the digital transformation and that software and technology are what makes teams in all businesses operate better and more efficiently and get more done.

    Cameron Deatsch:

We spend more on R&D as a percentage of revenue and less on sales and marketing as a percentage of revenue than just about any other enterprise software vendor in the industry.

    Erika Fisher:

We truly believe that cloud is the future, that the idea of hosting software on premise, while there may be some use cases today for customers, in the future everyone will be in the cloud.

    Mike Cannon-Brookes:

Things like A.I., machine learning. We're constantly upping our game as we get a larger cloud customer base.

    Erika Fisher:

But the next chapter will be about bringing not only our technology to our customers, but the technology that is best for them at that moment

    Mike Cannon-Brookes:

That fundamental difference changes so much about our business model.

    Erika Fisher:

The focus is going to start to be so much more on how we work and what tools we use, and those tools will be our competitive advantage versus where we work. So the game changer is really what are you using to get that work done? How are you supporting your teams with those digital tools? That's the X Factor.

    Mike Cannon-Brookes:

Machine learning can really help us to give better answers to people that don't need to know why they've gotten a better answer or how much technology is going into that better answer. We just want to give them the best answer as quickly as possible.
