Nasdaq Artist Initiative

Nasdaq is championing a new era of inclusive growth and prosperity. We believe that greatness can come from anywhere, and in enabling people of all backgrounds to reach their full potential. We’re excited to support emerging artists and give them a platform to display and promote their work.

In celebration of our new Global HQ in Times Square, Nasdaq launched a student competition to create artwork that embodies our purpose as an organization. Through a partnership with ArtsThread, a global organization that provides a launch pad for emerging artists and bridges the gap between education and industry, Nasdaq selected seven works of art to be featured in the new space. The winners are a diverse group of students representing design schools around the world and were chosen based on their expression of four themes related to Nasdaq’s purpose:

• Open up access to opportunity
• Technology should break down barriers
• Partnership can unlock growth
• Greater participation = greater prosperity
