VanEck Rings the Closing Bell
About This Event
Exchange traded fund (ETF) issuer VanEck visits the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square to celebrate the recent listing of the VanEck Green Infrastructure ETF (Nasdaq: RNEW). This new ETF offers exposure to leading companies that are poised to drive and potentially benefit from increased investment in efforts to make U.S. infrastructure greener and more sustainable.
“We’re pleased to provide investors efficient access to companies working to develop the future state of our country’s infrastructure as environmentally sustainable and resilient,” said Ed Lopez, Managing Director and Head of Product Management at VanEck. “It’s not often you get to launch an ETF that provides access to an issue whose solution not only benefits all of society, but also the companies whose innovations make it possible. The ETF structure continues to prove itself as a great way for investors to participate in the opportunity, and we’re happy to list this forward-looking ETF on the Nasdaq Exchange.”
RNEW seeks to track the Indxx US Green Infrastructure - MCAP Weighted Index (IUGIMWT) and is designed to offer exposure to a diversified portfolio of U.S. companies with revenues primarily generated from sustainable infrastructure businesses across a handful of key themes and sub-themes: environmental waste (including pollution control and waste management), building (including green constructions), and green energy and transportation (green energy and fuel, green transportation, and green infrastructure and equipment).
The VanEck team provides regular updates and insights on their sustainability solutions and research, which can be accessed here.
In honor of the occasion, Ed Lopez, Head of Product Management at VanEck, rings the Closing Bell.
