Miss USA, Top Models and Fashion Designers Ring the Opening Bell

IMG, the owner and producer of New York Fashion Week (NYFW): The Shows and the management company which represents many of the world’s most recognizable fashion talent, visited the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square.
To celebrate the February 2020 season of NYFW: The Shows, Leslie Russo, EVP of IMG’s fashion events group, rang the Opening Bell. NYFW: The Shows will commence on Thursday, February 6, at Spring Studios in New York City, with fashion and cultural programming continuing through Wednesday, February 12.
Leslie Russo was joined by IMG Models SVP, David Cunningham, and Miss USA, Cheslie Kryst; fashion designers Bibhu Mohapatra, Christian Cowan, Claudia Li, Cynthia Rowley, and Kim Shui; IMG models Chloe Vero, Eric Rutherford, Garrett Neff, James Turlington Carter, Marquita Pring, Parker Kit Hill, Solange van Doorn, and Zach Miko; valued NYFW: The Shows brand partners, Visa, Maybelline New York, BMW, Adidas, Pernod Ricard and Perrier; and the key IMG team members whose hard work makes New York Fashion Week a success.
With the support of these talented individuals, IMG celebrates New York Fashion Week’s significance to the local economy. The event is estimated to bring in over $900M in revenue, while the fashion industry employs more than 5.5 percent of all New Yorkers.
New York designers will be the first to debut Autumn/Winter 2020 collections, commencing Fashion Month worldwide.
