Fifteen Percent Pledge Rings the Opening Bell

About This Event

The Fifteen Percent Pledge, a racial and economic justice advocacy organization that calls on major companies to dedicate 15% of their purchasing power to Black-owned brands, visits the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square. Almost four years since its founding in 2020 by Aurora James, the Pledge has partnered with 29 companies across three countries and created the potential to shift over $14 billion to Black businesses.

In honor of the occasion, Aurora James, founder of the Fifteen Percent Pledge and Creative Director of Brother Vellies, and Emma Grede, Entrepreneur and Chairwoman of the Fifteen Percent Pledge, ring the Opening Bell.
