Yellowhead Mining Higher after Considering Strategic Partner for Harper Creek Project

Yellowhead Mining Inc. (YMI.V) is off its high for the session but is still up nearly 3% at 77 cents per share after saying it is exploring various financing options for its Harper Creek copper project in British Columbia, including bringing on new strategic investors, partnerships or off-take agrements.

A preliminary feasibility assessment for Harper Creek was completed in March with a full feasilbity study for the 70,000-ton-per-day facility expected to wrap up by the end of Q1 2012. The company spent a total of $3.8 million during the three months ended June 30.
