Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund ( XLY ), where 2.6 million units were destroyed, or a 3.4% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLY, in morning trading today Comcast ( CMCSA ) is off about 0.3%, and Disney ( DIS ) is lower by about 0.1%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the Daily Russia Bull 3x Shares ETF ( RUSL ), which lost 1.45 million of its units, representing a 24.4% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
