Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund ( XLP ), where 16,350,000 units were destroyed, or a 8.8% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLP, in morning trading today Procter & Gamble Company ( PG ) is off about 0.1%, and Coca-Cola Company ( KO ) is relatively unchanged.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the First Trust Taiwan AlphaDEX Fund ( FTW ), which lost 199,998 of its units, representing a 36.4% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
