XLE, GASL: Big ETF Inflows

Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund ( XLE ), which added 3,900,000 units, or a 2.2% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLE, in morning trading today Exxon Mobil ( XOM ) is up about 1.1%, and Chevron ( CVX ) is up by about 1%.

And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the Daily Natural Gas Related Bull 3x Shares ( GASL ), which added 650,000 units, for a 27.8% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of GASL, in morning trading today Anadarko Petroleum Corporation ( APC ) is up about 1.4%, and Antero Resources Corporation (AR) is higher by about 2.7%.
