White House Chief Economic Advisor Gary Cohn's Resignation Roils Wall Street

Trade tariffs and a potential trade war continue to weigh on Wall Street Wednesday as the sudden resignation of President Donald Trump's well-regarded economic advisor reverberated through global financial markets.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average plummeted more than 300 points at the open on the news, but has since reversed most of its losses in the wake of news trade protectionist advocate Peter Navarro (and the man behind the scenes of Gary Cohn's resignation) is not being considered as his replacement.
