Whetstone Minerals Ltd. (WMI.V) reported that a panel of the Alberta Securities Commission has cleared Robert H. Stan, a director of Whetstone, and other respondents of all wrongdoing in connection with a Notice of Hearing issued by ASC staff alleging contraventions of the Securities Act.
In its decision dated April 10, 2013, the ASC panel found that staff of the ASC did not prove any of their allegations against Stan and the other respondents and, as a result, dismissed all allegations. Whetstone, a gold exploration and development company focused on Zimbabwe, said it had no connection to the allegations.
