The iShares MSCI USA Quality Factor ETF ( QUAL ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 363,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 72,000. Shares of QUAL were trading flat on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Apple ( AAPL ), trading up about 0.4% with over 31.2 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Microsoft ( MSFT ), off about 0.5% on volume of over 11.9 million shares. CDK Global ( CDK ) is the component faring the best Wednesday, up by about 3% on the day, while Polaris Industries ( PII ) is lagging other components of the iShares MSCI USA Quality Factor ETF, trading lower by about 3.4%.
