Wednesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: IYG

The iShares U.S. Financial Services ETF ( IYG ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 122,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 106,000. Shares of IYG were down about 0.7% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Bank of America ( BAC ), trading off about 0.6% with over 10.5 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Wells Fargo ( WFC ), down about 0.9% on volume of over 3.0 million shares. Sterling Bancorp ( STL ) is the component faring the best Wednesday, up by about 1.8% on the day, while MSCI ( MSCI ) is lagging other components of the iShares U.S. Financial Services ETF, trading lower by about 1.5%.
