Wednesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: EMDD

The EGShares S&P Emerging Markets Domestic Demand ETF ( EMDD ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 95,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 28,000. Shares of EMDD were up about 0.5% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Ambev ( ABEV ), trading up about 0.6% with over 7.6 million shares changing hands so far this session, and JD.com ( JD ), up about 0.4% on volume of over 3.2 million shares. Philippine Long Distance Telephone ( PHI ) is the component faring the best Wednesday, up by about 2.2% on the day, while Fomento Econmico Mexicano ( FMX ) is lagging other components of the EGShares S&P Emerging Markets Domestic Demand ETF, trading lower by about 1.7%.
