Wednesday 6/5 Insider Buying Report: CSWC, TCBS

Bargain hunters are wise to pay careful attention to insider buying, because although there are many various reasons for an insider to sell a stock, presumably the only reason they would use their hard-earned dollars to make a purchase, is that they expect to make money. Today we look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.

On Monday, Capital Southwest's Director, William R. Thomas III, made a $243,139 purchase of CSWC, buying 9,400 shares at a cost of $25.87 each. Capital Southwest is trading down about 0.9% on the day Wednesday. This buy marks the first one filed by Thomas III in the past twelve months.

And on Friday, Director Anthony Scavuzzo bought $100,324 worth of Texas Community Bancshares, buying 7,001 shares at a cost of $14.33 each. Before this latest buy, Scavuzzo made one other buy in the past year, purchasing $428,010 shares at a cost of $12.97 each. Texas Community Bancshares is trading down about 0.6% on the day Wednesday.
