Bargain hunters are wise to pay careful attention to insider buying, because although there are many various reasons for an insider to sell a stock, presumably the only reason they would use their hard-earned cash to make a purchase, is that they expect to make money. Today we look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
At Full Circle Capital ( FULL ), a filing with the SEC revealed that on Tuesday, Director Mark C. Biderman purchased 11,350 shares of FULL, at a cost of $3.50 each, for a total investment of $39,725. So far Biderman is in the green, up about 5.7% on their buy based on today's trading high of $3.70. Full Circle Capital is trading up about 1.5% on the day Wednesday. Before this latest buy, Biderman made one other buy in the past twelve months, purchasing $27,236 shares for a cost of $6.19 a piece.
And at Citizens & Northern ( CZNC ), there was insider buying on Monday, by Director Jan E. Fisher who purchased 303 shares for a cost of $20.51 each, for a total investment of $6,214. Before this latest buy, Fisher purchased CZNC at 3 other times during the past twelve months, for a total investment of $18,662 at an average of $19.83 per share. Citizens & Northern is trading off about 0.1% on the day Wednesday. So far Fisher is in the green, up about 0.9% on their buy based on today's trading high of $20.69.
