Wall Street Bolstered By Oil Surge as Dow Climbs Fifth Straight Day

Wall Street advanced on Wednesday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbing for a fifth straight day to the highest in almost three weeks on a closing basis as surging oil prices lifted the S&P 500's energy group.

With nine of the 11 sectors pushing into the green near the bell, markets were digesting President Donald Trump's decision to pull the U.S. from the Iran nuclear deal and reimpose sanctions on the country, moves that heightened concerns about crude supplies and sent oil prices to the highest levels since late 2014.
