Visible Gold Mines (VGD.V) is still off its lows for the day but has now given back most of its advance that followed the company saying it has identified several high-priority gold targets at its Jotel project in Quebec.
The targets will drilled during a 7,500-meter, 14-hole Phase I program. Company officials said they have largely used structural patterns to identify potential mineralization as opposed to more traditional stratigraphic modelling. They also said although the area in the northern sector of the Alitibi Greenstone belt has been home to several high-producing mines in the past, the region is still mostly unexplored.
