US Futures Climb Ahead of Fed Speakers

US stock futures were in positive territory on Friday as traders looked ahead to several speakers from the Federal Reserve.

Oil prices fell with global benchmark Brent Crude down 0.26%, while US crude West Texas Intermediate was down 0.16% recently as the commodity got pressured by a stronger US dollar.

There are no economic data due for release.

Federal Reserve Presidents William Dudley, Eric Rosengren, Loretta Mester and John Williams are scheduled to speak.

In equities, shares of Blue Buffalo Pet Products ( BUFF ) were 17% higher pre-bell on a deal to be acquired by General Mills ( GIS ).
