March 5 () - Urban Outfitters Inc said on Tuesday sales in 2019 had started off weaker than its expectations and forecast a possible drop in same-store sales in the current quarter.
The apparel retailer expects first-quarter same-store sales to be flat to a low single-digit fall, while analysts were expecting a 1.8 percent rise, according to IBES data from Refinitiv.
The company's shares fell 4.5 percent at $28.55 in extended trading.
