UPDATE: Wildcat Silver Strikes Deal to Acquire Riva Gold; Wildcat Silver Hits New 52-Week Lows, Riva Gold Down 4%

Wildcat Silver Corporation (WS.TO) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire all of the outstanding common shares of Riva Gold Corporation (RIV.V) in consideration for one common share of Wildcat for 4.7 common shares of Riva.

The transaction will be completed by way of the amalgamation of Riva and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wildcat under the Business Corporations Act.

WS is currently trading at 60 cents. It has touched a new 52-week low of 58 cents today. RIV is now down 4% to $0.115, almost hitting 52-week low 11 cents.
