UPDATE: Pan Orient Energy Hits New Year Low Today As Net Income Edge Lower to $3.9 Million

Pan Orient Energy Corp. (POE.V) has hit another year high of $1.86 today and is now off by about 5% after announcing earlier today its 2011 third quarter consolidated financial and operating results.

The company said net income attributable to common shareholders of $3.9 million, or $0.07 per share (basic), compared with $5.4 million or $0.11 per share - basic for the third quarter of 2010. Total corporate funds flow from operations of $13.2 million compared with $15.4 million for the third quarter of 2010.
