UPDATE: Pacific Ridge Raises $1.46 Million for Mariposa Gold Exploration in 2012; Nearly Touches Year Low in the Afternoon

Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. (PEX.V) was unchanged at 12 cents in the afternoon, but is trading just 2 cents above year low 10 cents with 100 thousand shares that have already changed hands.

Earlier today, the company announced that the non-brokered flow-through private placement announced on December 5, 2011 was oversubscribed and has now closed.

The company said it was able to raise $1.46 million in flow-through funds, which will be largely designated to 2012 exploration drilling expenditures on the company's Mariposa Gold Property located in the Yukon's White Gold District.
