UPDATE: CanAm Moves Further Away from Year Lows As Q3 Coal Revenue Jump 17% to $8.7 Million

CanAm Coal Corp. (COE.V) is now higher by 8% at $0.135 compared to the previous closing price of $0.125, extending its morning gains, after announcing that for the third quarter that ended October 31, 2011, it has generated revenue of $8.7 million compared to $1.2 million last year. It was also able to top the $19 million in revenue for nine months of fiscal 2012 as compared to $3.8 million last year. It ended the quarter, however, with a deeper net loss of $497,764 compared to the previous year's $342,647.
