UPDATE: Astur Gold Gets Go-Ahead for Salave Gold Project But Shares Slip 2%

Astur Gold Corp. (AST.V), which landed between 20-day SMA $1.73 and 50-day SMA $1.75 at Friday's close, slipped 2% to $1.70 from yesterday's $1.74 close, hitting day lows, after announcing that the Regional Ministry of Economy and Employment of the Principality of Asturias and the Regional Ministry of Public Works, Territorial Planning, and the Environment of the Principality of Asturias have granted the company permission to proceed with geotechnical drilling for the Salave gold deposit in Asturias, Spain.

CEO Cary Pinkowski said: "This is a significant first step in moving Salave through the permitting stage and towards production. We will commence drilling in the coming weeks."
