UBIC files for a $46 million US IPO

UBIC, a provider of Asian-language eDiscovery solutions and services, filed on Thursday with the SEC to raise up to $46 million in an initial public offering. The Tokyo, Japan-based company, which was founded in 2003 and booked $67 million in sales for the 12 months ended 6/30/2012, currently trades on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. UBIC plans to list on the NASDAQ under the symbol UBIC. Baird and William Blair are the joint bookrunners on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
