MILANO, May 27 (Reuters) - Patto dei Mille, a group of 95 investors in UBI Banca UBI.MI, said on Monday it had nearly doubled its stake in the Italian retail bank to 6.94%.
The group, the lender's biggest shareholder, is made up of businessmen coming from the city of Bergamo in the North of Italy.
