Turkish July current account surplus $1.158 billion, less than forecast

Turkey's central bank said on Friday the country's current account deficit in July reversed to a surplus of $1.158 billion. The figure is less than a Reuters forecast for a surplus of $1.24 billion. In June, the current account deficit was $523 million.

ISTANBUL, Sept 13 (Reuters) - Turkey's central bank said on Friday the country's current account deficit in July reversed to a surplus of $1.158 billion. The figure is less than a Reuters forecast for a surplus of $1.24 billion. In June, the current account deficit was $523 million. In 2018 Turkey's current account deficit was $27.633 billion.
