Turkish April current account deficit $1.334 billion, less than forecast

Turkey's central bank said on Friday the country's current account deficit in April widened to $1.334 billion. The figure is less than a Reuters forecast for a deficit of $1.5 billion. In March, the current account deficit was $613 million.

ISTANBUL, June 14 (Reuters) - Turkey's central bank said on Friday the country's current account deficit in April widened to $1.334 billion. The figure is less than a Reuters forecast for a deficit of $1.5 billion. In March, the current account deficit was $613 million. In 2018 Turkey's current account deficit was $27.633 billion.
