Tuesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: VSS

The Vanguard FTSE All-World ex-US Small-Cap ETF ( VSS ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 508,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 146,000. Shares of VSS were up about 0.3% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Kinross Gold ( KGC ), trading up about 1.8% with over 6.5 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Precision Drilling ( PDS ), down about 4.5% on volume of over 2.4 million shares. China Southern Airlines ( ZNH ) is the component faring the best Tuesday, up by about 5.1% on the day, while Bellatrix Exploration ( BXE ) is lagging other components of the Vanguard FTSE All-World ex-US Small-Cap ETF, trading lower by about 5.5%.
