The Social Media Index ETF ( SOCL ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 447,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 55,000. Shares of SOCL were up about 0.7% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Pandora Media ( P ), trading down about 3.9% with over 37.5 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Zynga ( ZNGA ), up about 0.3% on volume of over 12.7 million shares. Nutrisystems ( NTRI ) is the component faring the best Tuesday, higher by about 4% on the day.
