The iShares Residential Real Estate Capped ETF ( REZ ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 217,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 43,000. Shares of REZ were down about 0.8% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Senior Hsg Properties Trust ( SNH ), trading down about 0.7% with over 892,000 shares changing hands so far this session, and Health Care Reit ( HCN ), down about 1.2% on volume of over 856,000 shares. Public Storage ( PSA ) is the component faring the best Tuesday, higher by about 0.2% on the day, while Medical Properties Trust ( MPW ) is lagging other components of the iShares Residential Real Estate Capped ETF, trading lower by about 1.8%.
